Due to overproduction, Toyota is likely planning to halt few models and no new generation will be developed for the halted models.

In early 2000s, Toyota had axed Sprinter, Sprinter Marino, Corolla Ceres, Corona EXiV, Vista and few models where were variant of the model, then combined into single model.
